These Terms of Service govern your use of ProfessionalResume.au, operated by Vocentra Future Pty Ltd, an Australian company. Please read them carefully before using the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ProfessionalResume.au ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vocentra Future Pty Ltd ACN 698 730 657, an Australian company ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Description of Service
ProfessionalResume.au provides AI-powered career tools including an ATS Scanner, Resume Rewriter, Cover Letter Generator, and Selection Criteria Writer (collectively, "the Tools"). The Service is provided on a subscription basis with a limited free tier. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to access most features of the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. Notify us immediately at hello@professionalresume.au if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Free accounts are limited to 3 AI uses per calendar month. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at AUD $19.95. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive of GST where applicable.
5. Refund Policy
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscriptions. If you are not satisfied within 7 days of your first charge, contact us at hello@professionalresume.au for a full refund. Refunds are not available for subsequent billing periods. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) generate content that is false, misleading, or fraudulent; (b) infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party; (c) upload malicious code or attempt to compromise the security of the Service; (d) resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent; or (e) violate any applicable Australian law or regulation.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Tools use artificial intelligence to generate content. AI-generated output may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed and edited before use. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of any content you submit to potential employers. We make no warranty that AI-generated content will result in employment outcomes.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process Your Content for the purpose of providing the Service. The Service itself, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Vocentra Future Pty Ltd and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or data.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia for resolution of any dispute arising under these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
